Today might be Black Friday, but…

…tomorrow is Small Business Saturday, and this upcoming Tuesday is Giving Tuesday. These two days are easily more important than this day of mass consumerism and missed focus for the holiday season. While I understand today is a huge day for holiday shopping (or grabbing a few much-needed items such as socks and herbal remedies), I urge you to really consider any purchases you make today and to check for a small business alternative to choose from instead.

This month, I collaborated with several other authors of children’s books to put together this resource, 25+ Children’s Books to Gift This Year. This blog post is packed full of so many lovely children’s books to consider as holiday gifts this year!

I’ve also made strides on my second children’s book with my illustrator and dropped a few sneak peeks on my Instagram account. The official sneak peek and exclusive invitation to join the Hype Team will come via email in January, so stay tuned!

This was a slightly slower month with only two books in the books (ha.) However, I have three left to meet my GoodReads goal, so fingers crossed for December (and drop me a recommendation!)
