Incentives, and Reviews, and New Books, Oh My.

What's going on in August.

Whether you’ve read the book or are thinking about reading it, I’ve got a task for you:

This month, I’m doing something fun — incentives for book sales! Which one do I want the most? The Kindle or the tattoo, for sure. Honestly, I’ve already popped a bottle or two of champagne this month. 😉 So, if you’ve been considering buying The ABCs, now is the time!

If you have already purchased (or received a copy via gift, giveaway, or free Kindle day), please consider leaving a review on Amazon or GoodReads and/or making a quick social post and tagging me. It means THE WORLD and helps with additional purchases (which will help me reach the incentives!)

Now, onto your August updates:

This month, I’ve been (slowly) working on a second children’s book and editing my forever-in-progress novel. The second children’s book will be announced SOON, along with the opportunity to join the release team.

I’ve also written a 250-word short story that I may be able to release post-contest (if so, I’ll include it in next month’s newsletter).

It’s been a slow month for reading. However, I did receive a copy of Unreasonable Hospitality from my new job that I can’t wait to dive into, and I’ve grabbed a few thrift finds from ThriftBooks that I’ll be exploring soon (the link will get you one free book credit!).

This month, I’m spotlighting Daylight Creations, one of the cutest small businesses that creates beautiful clay earrings and figurines!

In the next few weeks, I’ll be running a giveaway featuring these beauties below, so be sure to follow along on Instagram so you don’t miss out!

See you all next month!
